    What you will do

    As a Community Companion, you’ll provide one-to-one social support to clients. Your role includes:
     

    • Engaging in friendly conversations and activities tailored to the client’s interests.

    • Encouraging social interaction and reducing feelings of isolation.

    • Supporting clients during outings to their favourite places or events.

    • Building trust and fostering a genuine connection that enhances their quality of life.

  • Who you are

    This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, reliable and passionate about helping others improve their quality of life. Support work or similar fields is desirable but not a requirement for this position as training will be provided as required

    What you will do

    Provide practical assistance with everyday household tasks to help clients maintain a clean, organised and functioning environment. This includes:
     

    • Performing routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping and wiping surfaces. 

    • Assistance with laundry duties such as washing, drying, ironing and folding clothes. 

    • Assistance with shopping and running miscellaneous errands such as pick up prescriptions, postal services etc.

  • Who you are

    This role requires strong organisational, communication and multitasking skills, as well as discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information. Experience in a similar role is required for this position. In addition, experience using IT tools such as Microsoft 356 (email, word, excel) is required. 

    What you will do

    Provide high-level support to the team by managing administrative tasks, coordinating shift schedules and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations. Key responsibilities include:
     

    • Manage and maintain schedules, appointments and calendars 

    • Handle phone calls, emails and other communications on behalf of the manager/team.

    • Organise and maintain filing system.

    • Order and manage office supplies.

    • Coordinate with clients and support staff as needed. 

    • Ensure the office operates smoothly and efficiently.
